As part of our continuing focus to save the planet one household at a time, we have started up the GCE Solar Referral Scheme. Cut Carbon Emissions Scheme.
This program offers our customers the opportunity to refer a friend or family member and be rewarded for helping the environment and reward yourself financially.
How does it work?
It couldn’t be any easier! When you refer a friend or family member to GCE, make sure they give your name and let us know that you recommended they contact us. If they make the decision to save on their electricity bills and help save the planet, then on completion of their solar installation, you will be rewarded to the tune of $100 for every kilowatt of solar system that they purchase. It’s that easy!
That means that with the purchase of an average size system of around 3kW, you will be rewarded with a $300.00 bonus.
This bonus can be claimed as either ;
- A point of purchase discount for your friends or family members.
- A donation to a charity of your choose
- Coles/Myer voucher to the value of the bonus
- Other Good GCE services
- Maintenance package
- Led Lighting upgrades in your house.
- Data monitoring
- System upgrade
- Additional services

Duplicate referrals; the first person, which submits the referral in our system will receive the credit for sale. Unless the referral has already contacted or is logged in our system and/or are customers of Gold Coast Energy. Each referral must be generated outside the efforts of Gold coast Energy.
All information must be correct. Gold Coast Energy will not accept your referral if any mis-typed information is found on the registration form.
You must not send email or Spam to listing of groups on behalf of Gold Coast Energy. Your account will be immediately terminated and Gold Coast Energy may undertake further action in recovery of damages.
